BOARD APPLICATION
Joining the Silicon Valley Pride Board is an exceptional way to develop leadership skills, create community, impact equity, and help shape the future of our annual Silicon Valley Pride Festival. Depending on the role, there is a time commitment dedicated to Silicon Valley Pride strategic planning, digital correspondence, events, and in-person board meetings with hours increasing during the weeks leading up to Pride.
We are currently seeking board members for the following roles. Please note that you do not have to have to fit into one or more of these skill sets to be considered. Although these roles are based on the needs of our leadership team and of Silicon Valley Pride, we value all diverse talents, backgrounds, and expertise, and we encourage you to apply.

Chief Recruiting Officer

Recruit volunteers for the parade and festival

Lead Full Committee meetings

Provide training for Volunteers

Manages the schedule of Volunteers

Orders Food for Volunteers for Festival
Chief Parade Officer

Manage the entire parade logistics and process at the day of the event

Responsible for handling parade logistics

Create a comprehensive Parade Packet
