Santa Clara Valley Medical Center’s Gender Health Center in Downtown San Jose and Valley Homeless Healthcare Program in East San Jose specialize in care for trans, non-binary, and gender expansive people. We offer medical care, mental-emotional health care, social work, and community connection.

The IHSS Program pays for services provided to you so you can remain safely in your own home. To be eligible, you must be over 65 years of age or disabled or blind. Disabled children are also potentially eligible for IHSS. IHSS is an alternative to out-of-home care such as nursing homes or board and care facilities.

The LGBTQ Youth Space
The LGBTQ Youth Space is a Program of Family & Children Services and Caminar. We are a community drop-in center and mental health program for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning and ally youth and young adults ages 13-25 who live in Santa Clara County.

Tobacco-Free Communities Program, County of Santa Clara Public Health Department
Program activities focus on community mobilization to reduce appeal and acceptability of tobacco use, resulting largely from tobacco industry marketing and racial and social inequities that created tobacco-related disparities, including higher tobacco use in the LGBTQ community. Join our movement!
