Silicon Valley PRIDE is a space where LGBTQ+ identities, voices, culture, and joy are celebrated and uplifted. As we come together for our 2026 theme, Flourish & Bloom, we are committed to creating a festival experience that is joyful, inclusive, welcoming, safe, and accessible for everyone in our community.
We ask all attendees to help us create an environment where everyone has the opportunity to Flourish & Bloom — authentically, proudly, and safely.
ACCESSIBILITY
Silicon Valley PRIDE continuously works to improve our operations and festival grounds to better serve attendees with disabilities and other accessibility needs.
Our accessibility efforts may include designated accessible pathways, accessible restrooms, and other accommodations throughout the festival grounds.
Attendees who require reasonable accommodations are encouraged to speak with a Silicon Valley PRIDE staff member or volunteer for assistance.
Following the festival, attendees will have an opportunity to provide feedback and suggestions to help us continue improving accessibility at future Silicon Valley PRIDE events.
ANIMALS & SERVICE ANIMALS
Service animals are welcome at Silicon Valley PRIDE.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), attendees with disabilities may be accompanied by a service animal individually trained to perform work or tasks directly related to the attendee's disability.
While we recognize the important role animals can play in people's lives, emotional support, therapy, comfort, and companion animals that do not meet the ADA definition of a service animal are not permitted inside the festival grounds.
BAGS & BACKPACKS
For enhanced festival security and to help expedite entry, Silicon Valley PRIDE has implemented the following bag policy:
Clear plastic bags not exceeding 12" x 6" x 12" are permitted.
Clutches and purses no larger than 5" x 7" are permitted.
Infant and medically necessary bags are permitted and subject to inspection.
Oversized bags, including backpacks, suitcases, beach bags, and laptop bags, are prohibited.
All bags and personal belongings are subject to search prior to entry.
BANNERS, FLAGS & SIGNS
Silicon Valley PRIDE welcomes and encourages attendees to express themselves and showcase their Pride.
Banners, flags, and signs are welcome as forms of expression and celebration. However, they must not interfere with performances, festival operations, emergency access, or the experience of other attendees.
Banners, flags, and signs may not be attached to festival fencing, tents, stages, trucks, barricades, protective railings, or other festival infrastructure.
Banners and signs may not exceed 2 feet by 3 feet. Flags may not exceed 3 feet by 5 feet.
These items may not contain unauthorized commercial promotion, threatening or discriminatory language or imagery, or other content that violates the Silicon Valley PRIDE Code of Conduct.
Items that obstruct sightlines, interfere with festival signage or operations, or become a nuisance or safety concern may be removed.
Silicon Valley PRIDE reserves the right to permit, prohibit, or remove any banner, flag, or sign from the festival grounds at its discretion.
BOTTLES, CANS & OUTSIDE BEVERAGES
Attendees may bring:
One factory-sealed plastic bottle of still, clear, unflavored water of one liter (32 ounces) or less.
Soft-sided single-serving juice or milk containers.
Liquids required for medical or accessibility-related reasons.
Reusable water bottles of one liter or less, provided they are empty upon entry.
Glass containers and outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
CAMERAS, VIDEO EQUIPMENT & RECORDING DEVICES
Attendees are welcome to bring non-professional cameras for personal use.
Professional cameras, video cameras, camcorders, drones, and other professional recording equipment are prohibited unless specifically authorized or credentialed by Silicon Valley PRIDE.
Camera lenses may not exceed 6 inches in length. Additional professional or detachable lenses are prohibited unless authorized.
Photography and recording must not obstruct the views or enjoyment of other attendees.
Silicon Valley PRIDE reserves the right to request that an attendee discontinue photography, filming, or recording on festival grounds.
Professional photography or videography is not permitted without prior authorization from Silicon Valley PRIDE.
CELLULAR DEVICES & ELECTRONICS
Attendees are welcome to use cellular phones and smartphones provided their use does not interfere with performances, festival operations, or the experience of other attendees.
Large electronic devices, including laptops and tablets, are not permitted unless authorized by Silicon Valley PRIDE or required as a reasonable accommodation.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Silicon Valley PRIDE is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, inclusive, comfortable, and joyful environment for everyone attending our Festival.
Our theme, Flourish & Bloom, represents our belief that every member of our community deserves the opportunity to thrive, celebrate, and express themselves authentically.
All attendees, vendors, volunteers, performers, partners, and staff are expected to treat one another with dignity and respect.
Silicon Valley PRIDE maintains a zero-tolerance policy for conduct that threatens the safety or well-being of our community. Violations may result in immediate removal from the festival without refund.
Attendees shall:
Not disrupt stage performances, programming, activations, or activities.
Not enter restricted or credentialed areas without authorization.
Not throw objects onto stages or interfere with performers.
Not engage in threatening, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, violent, or otherwise unsafe behavior.
Follow instructions from Silicon Valley PRIDE staff, security personnel, emergency personnel, and authorized volunteers.
Present tickets, credentials, or wristbands when requested.
Remain within areas authorized by their ticket or credential.
Not solicit, sell, resell, distribute, or trade goods or services unless authorized by Silicon Valley PRIDE.
Comply with festival entrance, security, operational, and emergency procedures.
Silicon Valley PRIDE celebrates a community made up of people with different backgrounds, cultures, identities, beliefs, viewpoints, and experiences.
Conduct, language, imagery, or attire that is threatening, harassing, or discriminatory toward another person based on actual or perceived race, ethnicity, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, creed, disability, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or other protected characteristics will not be tolerated.
This includes abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or threatening conduct directed toward performers, volunteers, staff, vendors, community partners, security personnel, or fellow attendees.
If you witness conduct that violates these guidelines or creates an immediate safety concern, please notify the nearest Silicon Valley PRIDE staff member or security representative.
Together, we can create a space where our entire community can Flourish & Bloom.
EXIT & RE-ENTRY
Re-entry is permitted during festival operating hours.
Attendees must have the appropriate festival wristband or credential to re-enter the festival grounds.
Wristbands and credentials that have been altered, transferred, damaged, or tampered with may be considered invalid.
Attendees found attempting to use an altered or invalid credential may be denied re-entry.
FEEDBACK
Silicon Valley PRIDE values feedback from our community.
Following the festival, attendees will have an opportunity to provide comments and suggestions through our community survey. Your feedback helps us continue improving the Silicon Valley PRIDE experience.
FOOD & BEVERAGE POLICIES
Outside food and beverages are generally not permitted inside the festival grounds, except as otherwise permitted for medical or accessibility-related needs.
Attendees may bring:

FESTIVAL GATE TIMES
Saturday, August 29
Festival gates open at 6:00 PM.
Sunday, August 30
Festival gates open at 11:30 AM.
Gate times are subject to change due to weather, emergencies, public safety needs, or other operational circumstances.
Silicon Valley PRIDE is a rain-or-shine event.
INFLATABLES
Inflatable items, including balloons, beach balls, inflatable dolls, and similar objects, are prohibited inside the festival grounds.
Frisbees and other throwable objects are also prohibited.
LASER POINTERS
Laser pointers are prohibited inside the festival grounds.
NOISE-MAKING DEVICES
Unauthorized musical instruments, bullhorns, amplified speakers, air horns, or other noise-making devices are prohibited.
Exceptions may be made at the discretion of Silicon Valley PRIDE for authorized performers, vendors, parade participants, or programming.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
For the comfort, security, and safety of our community, the following items are prohibited from the Silicon Valley PRIDE Festival grounds:
Outside alcoholic beverages
Unauthorized amplified music, bullhorns, loudspeakers, or similar devices
Animals, except ADA-recognized service animals
Bags exceeding the permitted bag dimensions
Balloons and unauthorized inflatable items
Banners or signs larger than 2 feet by 3 feet
Bicycles, skates, scooters, skateboards, or similar recreational devices*
Bubble-making devices
Professional cameras or cameras with lenses longer than 6 inches unless authorized
Drones or remote-controlled aerial devices
Illegal drugs, substances, or related paraphernalia
Firearms
Fireworks, explosives, or incendiary devices
Flags larger than 3 feet by 5 feet
Unauthorized flyers, samples, giveaways, or promotional materials
Frisbees, footballs, hacky sacks, and other throwable or kickable sports equipment
Glass containers
Hard-sided coolers
Hoverboards
Unauthorized musical instruments
Knives
Lawn chairs or rigid-framed seating devices, except for accessibility purposes or when authorized
Laser pointers
Unauthorized microphones or professional recording equipment
Noise-making devices
Outside food, except approved medical or accessibility accommodations
Selfie sticks
Sports equipment
Unauthorized tents, canopies, or structures
Large umbrellas or umbrellas that obstruct sightlines
Weapons or defensive devices of any kind
Any item determined by festival security to present a safety risk or substantially interfere with festival operations
*Mobility devices used by attendees with disabilities are permitted.
Attendees are strongly encouraged to leave prohibited items at home or secured elsewhere before arriving at the festival.
Anyone arriving at an entrance with a prohibited item may be required to remove the item from the festival area before being admitted.
All bags, containers, and personal belongings are subject to security inspection.
Any attendee intentionally possessing a prohibited item inside the festival may be removed from the event without refund.
Reasonable accommodations will be made when necessary for attendees with disabilities.
Silicon Valley PRIDE reserves the right to modify festival entry and security policies when necessary to protect the health, safety, and security of attendees, performers, volunteers, staff, vendors, and the community.
STROLLERS, WHEELCHAIRS, WALKERS & MOBILITY DEVICES
Silicon Valley PRIDE welcomes attendees using strollers, wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices.
These devices must not block emergency exits, accessible pathways, entrances, or major pedestrian routes.
Attendees should not leave strollers or mobility devices unattended in festival walkways or stage audience areas.
Storage compartments and attached bags may be subject to security inspection.
Unattended items may be relocated when necessary for safety or security.
Silicon Valley PRIDE is not responsible for unattended, lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
UMBRELLAS
Small, collapsible umbrellas measuring less than 32 inches in diameter are permitted.
Umbrellas that obstruct sightlines, signage, emergency access, or the experience of other attendees may need to be lowered or removed.
Silicon Valley PRIDE reserves the right to ask attendees to lower or put away umbrellas when necessary for safety, visibility, or the enjoyment of others.
