SILICON VALLEY PRIDE ANNOUNCES 2026 THEME “Flourish & Bloom”
SAN JOSE, CA (June 30, 2026) – Silicon Valley PRIDE is proud to announce "Flourish & Bloom" as the official theme for its 2026 Pride celebration. As a dedicated nonprofit organization serving the South Bay and beyond, Silicon Valley PRIDE's mission is to create safer spaces and advocate for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community to thrive through organizing and sponsoring year-round events and programming. Our vision is a safe world where every 2SLGBTQIA+ person can thrive and embrace their authentic self.
"Flourish & Bloom represents the heart of who we are," said Jerry Mai, Interim Chief Executive Officer of Silicon Valley PRIDE. "Every event, program, and partnership we create is rooted in our mission to foster safer, more inclusive spaces where people can be seen, supported, and celebrated. Pride is more than one weekend—it's a year-round commitment to helping our community flourish."
The theme serves as both an invitation and a promise. It invites every member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, allies, families, and supporters to celebrate their authentic selves while reinforcing Silicon Valley PRIDE's promise to advocate for a future where everyone has the opportunity to grow without fear or barriers.
Silicon Valley PRIDE continues to serve as a cultural cornerstone for the region, bringing together thousands of attendees, community organizations, businesses, artists, and advocates to celebrate diversity while advancing equity and belonging. Through year-round programming, education, advocacy, and community partnerships, the organization works to ensure that Pride extends far beyond a single celebration and remains a catalyst for positive change throughout Silicon Valley.
The 2026 celebration is an opportunity to honor the progress made by generations of LGBTQ+ advocates while inspiring the next generation to continue building a more inclusive future.

Silicon Valley’s Official PRIDE Week: August 24 - August 29, 2026
Festival & Parade Dates: August 29 - August 30, 2026
The Festival: A vibrant celebration across Downtown San Jose, featuring a weekend of live entertainment, an exhibitor marketplace, family garden, and a variety of events leading up to the weekend.
The Parade: On Sunday, August 30, 2026, the historic procession featuring over 175 entries steps off in Downtown San Jose by Coleman Ave and proceeds south towards Market St leading right into the festival.
